Financial Assistance
- $400 a year toward the cost of attendance
- $300 a year toward instructional materials (such as textbooks)
- $400 a year to reduce living costs (such as food, gas, and other expenses)
- Additional funds to reduce the cost of supporting children while enrolled in college
- Additional funds for summer or winter terms
Personalized Coaching and Advising
- A dedicated SUNY ASAP coach to guide you from entry to graduation
- Individualized plans to be successful in and out of the classroom
- Academic monitoring to keep you enrolled and on track

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the SUNY ASAP program, you must:
- Be an accepted FLCC student in one of the SUNY ASAP approved degree programs (list below).
- Be a New York State resident, or eligible for NY in-state tuition (NYS DREAM Act students are eligible).
- Complete a FAFSA and NYS TAP Application and be awarded at least $1 of federal or state grant or scholarship aid.
- Enroll as a full-time student while participating in the program (12 credits).
- Have previously earned no more than 21 credits from FLCC or another accredited college or university (excluding credits earned in high school).

SUNY ASAP Application Process
Follow the steps below to apply for the SUNY ASAP program at FLCC:
- Step 1: Apply for admission to FLCC, selecting a SUNY ASAP-approved degree program.
- Step 2: File your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and Express TAP (Tuition Assistance Program) applications.
- Step 3: File your SUNY ASAP Application.
- Step 4: Accept any federal and state grant aid awarded (Pell, SEOG, TAP) and complete all admissions requirements and tasks.
SUNY ASAP eligibility does not guarantee admission to the program. We can only admit a certain number of students per year. SUNY ASAP applications close once we reach the maximum enrollment for each semester.
The Finger Lakes Community College Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) Program is part of the SUNY replication of the City University of New York (CUNY) Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP).
