Scholarships for New/Incoming Students

Looking to save money on college tuition? Our many scholarships make the cost of an FLCC education even more affordable, and we make the scholarship process easy, too.

Automatic Consideration for Scholarships:

You will automatically be considered for scholarship funds without having to fill out a scholarship application if you apply and are accepted to FLCC by March 1, 2020. You also have to have a high school transcript on file. It is highly recommended that incoming students also have a complete FAFSA on file to maximize the chances of receiving a scholarship that has a financial eligibility requirement. It's that simple!

If you apply to FLCC after the March 1 deadline, you may still be eligible for these scholarships if funding remains available. There are additional scholarship opportunities below.

Scholarships that require an FLCC Foundation scholarship application:

In addition to the many scholarships for which you will automatically be considered, we also have a list of specific scholarships available that require an FLCC Foundation scholarship application. For your convenience, we offer one general scholarship application, no need to fill out an application for each scholarship. The application can be accessed by clicking the green button above (only available during the application period). The Foundation Scholarship application period for the academic year 2020-2021 is now closed and will reopen for 2021-2022 in January 2021. The scholarship opportunities are listed below.

If you enter FLCC for the spring 2020 semester or if you are admitted to FLCC for the fall 2020 semester, you are eligible to apply for the FLCC Foundation scholarships listed below. Scholarship amounts typically range from $300 to full-tuition grants.

This list identifies the scholarships and dollar amounts that we anticipate will be available to incoming students for the 2020 - 2021 academic year. Be advised that the list does change over time. New awards are added and current benefactors occasionally make decisions to change the criteria and/or the dollar amounts they provide.

  • To be eligible to receive a scholarship award, you must register for classes for the fall 2020 semester.
  • Your responses to the questions will identify the scholarships for which you are eligible and for which you will be considered.
  • Once all recipients are identified, e-mail notification will be sent to the FLCC e-mail addresses of both recipients and non-recipients.

Questions can be directed to scholarships@flcc.edu or call 585.785.1205.
