Scholarships

Whether you are an incoming, returning, or graduating student, we offer many scholarships at FLCC to help make the cost of your education even more affordable.

The timeframe to apply for Foundation Scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year is now over.  The Foundation Scholarship period will begin again in early 2019 for the academic year 2019-2020.

For New Incoming Students

As an incoming student, you can automatically be considered for scholarship funds without having to fill out a scholarship application. All you have to do is apply and be accepted to FLCC by March 1, 2018 and have a high school transcript on file. It is highly recommended that incoming students also have a complete FAFSA on file to maximize your chances of receiving a scholarship that has a financial eligibility requirement.

In addition to the many scholarships for which you will be automatically considered, we also have scholarships through the FLCC Foundation that require an application. The application can be accessed by clicking the green button above (only available during the application period).

For Current/Returning Students

To be eligible to apply for the returning student scholarships offered by the FLCC Foundation, you must have completed at least one semester at FLCC as a matriculated FLCC student and be currently enrolled at the College.  In order to be eligible to receive a scholarship, you must be registered for classes at FLCC for the fall 2018 semester. The application can be accessed by clicking the green button above (only available during the application period).

For Graduating Students

If you graduated in December 2017 or intend to graduate in May or August 2018 and transfer to a four-year institution within 12-months of graduation, you are eligible to apply for graduating student scholarships offered by the FLCC Foundation. The application can be accessed by clicking the green button above (only available during the application period). Please Note - There are just three scholarship opportunities available for graduating students: a nurse who will pursue a bachelor's degree in nursing; a computing science major transferring; and either an FLCC nursing or massage therapy major who will return to FLCC in Fall 2018 to pursue the other degree.

The application period for incoming, returning, and graduating student scholarships from the FLCC Foundation for the 2018-2019 academic year will run from March 2 to May 4, 2018.
