The Office of Community Standards and Counseling at FLCC encourages students to meet the highest standards of conduct possible, and it provides support and guidance to the entire College community through its counseling and emergency services.

Counseling Services

Counseling is available for students who wish to discuss personal issues affecting their academic experience. Counselors provide guidance to help students on a short-term basis to clarify issues, resolve conflicts, and learn new ways of coping. This is FREE to all enrolled students.

Student Emergency Services

We realize the difficulty students may face in ensuring that their basic needs are met. We have a number of services to minimize these barriers and support your success. FLCC offers assistance with food, transportation expenses, and referrals to community agencies. Additionally, limited emergency funds are available for students experiencing a financial emergency or hardship.
